I took this exactly at 5.02pm as that was the time the sunset on this shortest day. I tried for one at exactly 12.23pm as the sun was at its highest then but the silly thing went and hid behind clouds at the precise moment!
Three good things;
1.Death by cushion! A spider got whacked.
2. Lovely Italian meal out followed by rugby on the big screen upstairs in their little lounge.
3. All my photos are back and now I'm going to make lots of libraries. 17000 is way out of control!

Very nice! Looks like some of the sunrises around here! It's our longest day and I think it's so great to see what it looks like on the opposite side of Mother Earth! Fav!
Beautiful capture and a fav! You even got some headlights in here! I am up vey early, too, but I spend that time viewing and commenting on 365 for 2 hours. One of these days, I need to get out there and take early AM photos :-)
