The last rose of summer is brought inside to admire! Maybe yellow roses last longer than others. I’m humming now, Oh, the yellow rose of Texas…..”
Magic on black!
By the way, Mr Man and Yolanda are still snoring away in their Cornish Hideaway while a local man is fixing the motorbike - it seems to have developed a few bends!
Yolanda has my mobile number so I will keep up with their future movements.
Three good things;
1. Being able to choose anything you want on the net regarding a plan for the Big Journey. Hotels, rentals, flights, insurance, temperatures, the right nightwear to bring!
2.The community rallying around mysterious happenings in our area - 200 sheep shot on a farm in the night, and again last weekend, 15 shot in another farm! No cartridges found, no sounds of shots!
3. We don’t have sheep in our garden.
I like the poster effects....lovely work of art and a fav for me! Yikes, I'd be scared out of wits if someone in our area began shooting up anything! How awful! Aliens? ;-)
Beautiful processing! Gorgeous rose in a lovely vase! How scary for you all not knowing who us doing such horrible things with his gun! Fav for your rose!
Absolutely heartbreaking for the farmer....all those sheep shot for no reason...I presume they are still there so no financial gain there... A grudge perhaps......very strange & poor sheep!
Sounds like a big trip coming up or are you just planning?love the treatment given to your rose....I am singing The Yellow Rose of Texas now of course...haven't thought of that song for years....you & my era Maggiemaez,
@happypat The first lot were shot on a full moon and they thought that had significance but then it happened again! Its all on NZ news! Yes, a trip coming up - US (Indian motorbike related) then France where stepdaughter has booked a give followed by Spain and Portugal (I think)!
Instant fav, Maggiemae. I love this processing and the resulting image. Wow!! And so weird about the poor sheep. Someone using a silencer and with a real grudge? That's awful!!
Love the painterly effect here but it looks like a gorgeous rose to start with. Distressing about the sheep the farmers must be devastated at their loss and somewhat fearful as well.
@lwain The whole community is fearful, Lindy. The area where the sheep were killed is unattainable with a vehicle so this person would have had to walk for some miles to get there!
Cool shot, Maggiemae. Yellow roses are lovely. Cool processing. What is up with shooting sheep??? And how can no shots be heard? Unless they are using silencers. But why shoot the sheep?? That's scary. I hope the perpetrators get caught and fast. Be safe.
