Wisteria still growing by maggiemae

Wisteria still growing

Had to take a diary photo of this climber. The leaves are just starting to show. It is beside our front door and makes a wonderful show.

Three good things;
1. Bought some honey to put in that dish for the birds.
2.Put my electric bike on charge but didn't turn the wall switch on. Found that out later.
3. Found the grave of my father's first wife - it looks lonely and abandoned. No-one knew about it. Will change that!
Very beautiful.

@espyetta Our song birds do MaryBeth.. Bellbirds, this and silver-eyes.
October 21st, 2014
@kwind We have to prune it right back each year - so it doesn't get any bigger or else we wouldn't be able to get out the front door!
October 21st, 2014
@maggiemae Oh, wow. Did not know that.
October 21st, 2014

October 21st, 2014
@oopsadaisy Thank you Daisy - what you see is actually out the gate and on to the road. The garden is quite small in this corner!
October 21st, 2014
@maggiemae - I think I am a little envious because we are approaching winter and not a lot of colour in my garden at the moment, that may be why I keep buying flowers for my house, it is beautiful.

i love wisteria so this is a big fav for me, maggiemae, especially that it is right by your front door. how i wish i could see it personally. it looks gorgeous. that has to be quite an old plant. your garden looks very nice, too! and good for you to have to take care of the grave of your father's first wife. you're a fantastic person. no wonder i like you.

@summerfield What a nice thing to say, Vikki! Thank you!
October 21st, 2014
The wisteria looks wonderful from this angle - it must look fab around your door. How lovely that you are coming into spring now as we go into autumn. One of the things I love about 365 is that we see all the seasons as they happen all round the world. That bike sounds exciting!! So pleased you found that grave - nice to know it will no longer be abandoned - that's lovely!!

What a beautiful shot, Maggiemae. Love the color of the wisteria. I did not know that honey would work for the birds. Hoping the hummingbirds come for my blooming plant in our backyard. Have not seen one though. Nice that you will take care of your fathers first wives grave. So many are left uncared for. FAV
October 22nd, 2014
@darsphotos Thanks Darlene for all your generous favs and nice comments! Lovely to hear from you. We don't have humming birds here.
October 22nd, 2014
@maggiemae I think our hummingbirds have left due to lack of water and the pigeons have moved back in.

How lucky to have such beautiful wisteria. And I love it that you found your father's first wife's grave. So kind that you cared enough to look. I used to work for a monument company and it is sad to see how many graves are ignored. Blessings upon you. Love your photo.

October 22nd, 2014
Looks lovely.
October 22nd, 2014
I think Wisteria is so pretty- even saying the name sounds pretty. I wonder if deer like it? They probably do. I should invest in deer repellent stock. I use enough of it! Oh well, that has nothing to do with you! haha Nice shot!!
October 23rd, 2014
@olivetreeann Are you not allowed to put up fences, Ann?
October 23rd, 2014
@maggiemae Yes, we can, but the deer just jump over them. And believe me, I've seen them do it!
October 23rd, 2014
