The Midnight Spider…. by maggiemae

The Midnight Spider….

Deep into the night, if you are very careful and do not make any noise you just may see this golden spider in its fragile web!

He sparkles with energy and re-energises himself with midnight oil! That way, he can jump on to the unwitting and elusive lightening bugs!

One bug is worth 20 computer gremlins! He can send out signals to invade hyperspace to the detriment of all buggerees! … or buggerors, as the case may be!

Three good things:
1. Lamb shanks went well - took 4 hours at 145degC. Better than 3 hours when they were rather tough.
2. A super phone call from an old school friend about another person at our school who we thought weird because she wrote poetry. She died aged 33 and some of her poetry is lost. Somewhat similar to Janet Frame.
3. Imagination should be a subject in schools!
Wickedly cool edit. Nice blues!

Gorgeous shot, love the colours! And to your third point, I would add common sense, as it simply isn't common!

@kiwisnapper Thanks for your fav Ashley - and I do agree with you - why iis it not common? I say upbringing!

I really love the imaginative way you've processed this, speaking of imagination. I would agree with you, but I'm not sure it can be taught--maybe developed, if the seed is there. Fav for this.

Talked on the phone with the grands a little while ago. Everyone took a turn telling a story. While we did not have any golden spiders who drink midnight oil, we did use a lot of imagination! Cool processing and I totally agree with #3!
