Poor Sadie (our Mercedes) had really deep stone damage on the windscreen so she had to be refaced (better than defaced). Meant an early trip to the Garage for a new windscreen that had had to be ordered! Chucked John out before he even opened his eyes but he managed! We picked her up later in the day looking glamorous once more!
Three good things:
1. This creature was lurking in a car yard and lurching towards a service station with unmentionable intentions! He probably would have devoured all there including the carwash! Don’t mess with a lurking lurcher!
2. Getting adventurous with a menu for our 4 family vegetarians!
3. Lots of great comments and some orders for my books!
What the heck maggiemae.......this is a beast extraordinaire lurking! His jaws look very used to munching all in his wake! We can see all his insides, there don't seem to be any human pieces in his tummy. Stone damage.....how fast have you been going? I suppose it's your metal rides & all the traveling you have been doing.
Wow what a strange beast!! So annoying when you get damage to your car through no fault of your own!! Just had to get a dent and scratch on my wing done after my friend let her car door get caught by a gust of wind and "clonk" it hit my car!!
@happypat This damage was done on the main road, Pat! A huge truck passed us and a stone flicked up! John is pretending he has a price on his head and that it was a bullet!
What a wonderful creature I simply love it and could sit and stare at for a long long time !! Some one has been very craftily clever here !! Glad to hear you are doing well with the book !
@maggiemae
By the way: "UAU" It is the sound I utter when something fascinates me and surprises me! And you can fascinates me and surprises me with yours stunning photos!
That is a really cool sculpture. Using all those thrown-away car parts to create this must have been quite a job. Glad to hear your book is doing well.
Looks like this fellow is geared up for trouble! Cool sculpture though. Glad Sadie is back on track. She held up pretty well after that wonderful trip you just finished.
Every moment is a marketing opportunity. And an opportunity for great photography. I like how you have focused on the 'guts' of the thing.
Glad the books are selling!

Glad Sadie has regained her good looks.
