Home again and my garden borders are full of colour! Some tiny plants are just as beautiful if you get down on your knees ( like almost lying down!) to choose the angle.
Ornithogalum or Star of Bethlehem is the name of this hardy little bulb flower that hides in the Winter and stars in the Spring, literally!
Three good things:
1. My book by Lucinda Riley and introduced by Pat @happypat has absorbed my whole day! ‘Seven Sisters”.
2. Today, I’ve been in Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Scotland, and of course, England today! I have to focus as to where I actually AM!
3. Forgot where the vacuum lived.
Isn't she brilliant Maggie & so current as imread it when the Olympic Games where on & Christ the Redeemer statue showing every day. I have read her next one & waiting for number three in November. These tiny flowers are so delicate & the oerfect spring flower.
@happypat The plot of the book is so unique and well developed. I can imagine the next issue is about another sister. I'm only 1/2 way through this one.
What a beautiful and clear shot of this pretty little flower. I'd like to see you almost lying down to take it. Forgetting where the vacuum lives is a good thing as well as traveling around the world all in one day is
@maggiemae yes a book about each sister & it's amazing how she weaves real people from history into her stories, you'll find that out in the next one. I think the last one eventually will tie all the background up so I believe. I have read a few more of hers too but her later Ines are the best. I have just started The Italian Girl while I'm waiting for third sister one.
I don't want to burst your bubble, this tiny flower is beautiful and I had it in our garden border. unfortunately it takes over and chocks the other plants.
I do love your angle and that you're agile enough to bend down or almost lying down as you say to get this angle. fav.
