Rosebud in Rain by maggiemae

Rosebud in Rain

This is one of the tiny rosebuds seen in yesterday’s photo as pink blobs. I increased the contrast and then used a solarisation option to get this result. The rose on the bottom left is without the process.

Three good things:
1. Rain, rain and more rain kept us inside but there are no leaks! 40mm!
2. Took refuge in piano playing to calm me down - I should be out walking!
3. Our rubbish got taken away thank goodness, John had put a bucket of solid cement in the bag and hoped they wouldn’t notice. I did hear a solid plonk when it went in the bin!
Our bin men are very fussy! Bet you were glad to get rid of that cement! Pearlised roses look stunning! Really effective treatment you gave them. I neardcyou wete having bad weather, the last thing those poor unplaced people North of Christchurch need.

@happypat The bin men took a while to sit outside our property - thought they might come in and complain but they didn't! We had a weather bomb here yesterday and there was some flooding - none round our area though! The weather is moving up the coast and will hit Kaikoura today!
