After a perfectly heavenly weather day we ended up here at the Classic Motorbike Museum in Invercargill.. The Opening with Guy Martin. Haven’t a clue what we were talking about and probably Guy wonders what happened here and who I was!. But this is he…. and I! We were photobombed!
Three good things:
1. On the way side-tracked off the main road and told our GPS where we wanted to go…. down a very narrow track to a beautiful Scenic Reserve where we had lunch. Nobody around.
2. A lovely 30 minute walk through beautiful NZ bush complete with giant Rimu trees!
3. Lots of fun with another like woman - who didn’t ride, hardly knew what a cylinder was - & thats me too!
@gijsje I hadn't either Bep until this time - he is a guest from the UK for the Burt Munro Challenge - all motorbikes. Set many records, on TV a lot apparently etc @happysnaps
Wow, Guy Martin is a legend in motorbiking, I've seen him ride in the TT Races in the Isle of Man many times. Did you understand him? He talks (and rides) far too fast.
@inthecloud5 It was so noisy there with all people invited here, talking non-stop, Christine! I was telling him how well known he was in England from my friends on 365!
And here he is the man himself! A funny sort of guy, I think he lives life at full tilt Maggie, fast talking & on the go all the time! You look quite matey there the two of you! Quite a feather in your hat getting him but he will love the whole event. What's the guy with the eyes doing? Good eye contact all round!
Great capture especially the photo bomber!! Guy Martin is a legend and has many speed records. He has done a few TV programmes which have been really interesting. He is great fun with everything done at speed!! Fav!
Guy Martin is a great bloke! He is a mad person who loves speed. Love his programs....shame he cut his hair off. He used to look quite wild before!! Lucky you to be there!!
Love your nr. 3 ;-)
