A quiet Dam by maggiemae

A quiet Dam

Rained overnight again and the warm temps disappeared. However in a cosy caravan, our life went on except we had hot porridge for breakfast.
Went exploring further up the river on the wrong side - trotting horses is obviously of importance as are apricots and cherries. But the Lake Roxburgh Dam is so wild - no houses, no pubs, no roads! It is a power station. Built in 1957.

Three good things:
1 a number of what appears to be South American people here - for fruit picking, any jobs!
2. Met this couple on a motorbike from Latvia again!
3. Where you sit here on the ground or crunch underfoot - it brings a smell of herbs!
interesting treatment
