The poppy that was seen a few days ago has now become a seed head. Overnight rain left a drop in it and I was lucky enough to have the right POV to see this. I’m getting the hang of good focus - so many variables!


Three good things:
1. Ruddy cat didn’t finish her lunch so gave it to the birds! Might be a photo later.
2. Lots to smile about
3. Investigation of autism and its effects. May explain a bit.
Beautiful. We had 4 mm of rain today. The first of the year.

Stunning clarity maggie! The raindrop is a little jewel in the cup! Autism, I know very little but it's good to learn.

Water droplets will get my attention always. Nice that you spotted this one. Nature was good to you throughout the evolution of this poppy's life.

Very nice shot , I like the dof. Shame poppies don't last very long. They're so fragile.

Super shot Maggie , The life of a Poppy is "here today , gone tomorrow ",but the plus - side is that the seed-heads look so lovely in the garden ! Great focus ,clarity and dof in this shot !

@digitalrn Thank you Rick - the white flash in this was a white concrete edging that was a bit ugly to have the focus extend to it!

We have five feeders hanging in or tree one of them is for homemade suet.as long as the squirrels don't get at them, they last for a few days.
