I looked at a chopping board I had with a nice still life picture on it and sought to use the same subjects. Of course it included a glass of red wine which John thought was a good idea!
This shot looks really good on the Black....
Three good things”
1. I bought some nice fruit for this picture that I don’t normally include in my weekly groceries!… peach, feijoa, apricot and grapes - not NZ but seedless and firm.
2. The wine is called ‘Kindred’ which I thought was rather nice. Is a Shiraz by Allegiance wines and holds a gold medal. Not a NZ one but Australian.
3. Having a real calendar when you flip over to a new month - real paper!
incredible lighting. i must apologize, for the last several days a couple of people were playing catch up with their albums so your photos and the others must've got buried. i love the lighting you employed here. it does look like a master's still life.
@maggiemae - i scroll past, too, but with two or three doing it at the same time, i feel like it's never going to end. i get up and do something else and then come back for more catch ups and then i just give up. most of the time, i just pick random names in my head and yours and katy always come up first. it's probably why I'm not getting a lot of comments, because i just have so little time to comment back. but i know you understand and that eventually i'll make it over to your album. thanks for understanding, my friend.
