Bird's Eye

Another day waiting for a photo to appear! And it did. This little bumble bee was on the floor of our concrete garage. I thought it was dead but when I put my camera right down by its head….. it moved! I was so happy!

Three Good Things:
1. John picked this little humble bumble up on one finger and it clung even when he tried to tip it over on to a plant! It was no where in sight later so maybe it recovered and flew off!
2. Took a photo of the needle coming out of John’s skin when we went into our flu shots! Eeek!
3. Thought this shot might be good for the Technique71 challenge! Birds eye.
Lovely use of space.

Wonderful use of white space; this is a very effective pic! Nice to hear that the bee most likely lived; I hope that he thrives and pollinates a good many flowers for you.

@dsp2 Bumble bees have great importance in the life of plants and we have to save them!

I really like how you composed this....well, maybe the garage floor composed it, but you captured it. Happy to hear that the bee recovered and went on to carry out nature's duties.

@stray_shooter Well there was too much dirt on the concrete floor, Ron to go with this idea. So I got down with a scrubbing brush and some bleach and hey ho! Not!
