Pillars of stone

Chicago remained unexplored as we had to organise our luggage and catch a late train. However the Great Hall of the Union Station is well worth a photograph!

Three good things:
1. A good rest in a comfortable room.
2. Was able to watch the Louis Vitton cup races for the day - NZ who is a likely contender for Oracle USA, won its race against Britain.
3. New train, different cabin - can actually sit up in the top bunk!
Beautiful place! Lovely photo!

You make it look absolutely marvelous. So glad to hear you did not have use or need for a knife hidden in your pocket ! (;

Plenty of headroom then! I thought you might come home with a bent back! This station has a wonderful glow about it, a sort of luminesce. I like the guy lying on the bench!

@maggiemae I'm only disappointed we didn't get to meet. You were so close to some really cool places to photograph and it would have been great to meet face to face. Another time, I hope!
