The Grand Canyon has left many photographic images that are to be admired. I researched. F8. ISO100 and 1/90speed. It worked well without the tripod as there was a steel handrail to position your camera on.
Three good things:
1. Not good really - a few intrepid visitors wanted to get down on to lower stones for a good photograph…. Good for me - got ‘em!
2. I read that there were 12 fatalities each year from selfies and people not watching where they walk!! The good thing was that I DID!
3. Watching a Starski and Hutch film on TV when I was too tired to go out after 4.1km walking!
Gorgeous capture of one of our favorite places, but.....Where on earth are this kid's parents? Pretty stupid going out on that point! (We were in the Grand Canyon one time when a kid about 12 had fallen to his death that morning doing just about what this one is doing) It was awful..
You will never see me on that ledge, for sure. The guy must be a bit crazy or very brave to sit there, Your shot is fabulous and I love the colour of the rocks. Fav.
It's been more than 30 years since I've heard about Starsky and Hutch. Used to love that show. Did you like it?
