Not much inspiration today but took a photo of this wonderful holly hedge which runs alongside our local lawn tennis courts! How I wish I was agile and strong enough to play tennis again!
Three good things:
1. Cooked oxtail today and it took over 8 hours - so delicious!
2. Our motorcaravan got a lot of comments today when we took it into town - to get a cover made for it; some shower curtains; and a tiny plant to go in a shelf.
3. Off in a couple of days to a Blossom Festival in Central Otago!
@happypat We tend to go to caravan parks where we can plug in the electricity, Pat - use wifi and shower in the facilities. Save our own water and gas. Its very nice when they are deserted and when they are full its fun to people watch from your own private and comfy lounge!
Well we certainly got the prickly message from the excellent detail here. Works so well as a half and half. We have one of these holly bushes by the front gate - at times we neglect to trim it as well as the one in your picture and guests get a prickly reception. It is time for it to go.
A Holly Hedge must look beautiful and I bet squirrels stay away from that prickly stuff. seeing and hearing about your upcoming trip reminds me of when we had a small camper and visited many official camping places for the same reason.
Will you be traveling in your new motorcaravan to Otago?
