A beach in Dunedin where there is always a picture! The occasion was a launch of a 30 year old NZ Single Malt and all from Otago - the province where we live. The whisky was wonderful - best single malt I've ever tasted. Not cheap either but one to be kept and savoured.
Three good things:
1. I plucked up enough courage at the Dunedin Club where over 70 people were invited to ask several questions. Mainly - where did the beautiful sweetness come from. The answer was highly technical.
2. We got a goodie bag with a miniature of the whisky and two types of chocolate included - 1, Salted Caramel; 2, NZ Manuka honey, bee pollen and puffed amaranth! How about that!
3. Great conversations afterward. No motorbikes involved at all!
oh, i love the many shades of blue in your shot, maggiemae. the human element is a wonderful addition to give perspective to the shot. i'm missing going to a real beach - our beaches here in Toronto are wanna be beaches!
