Waking up to thick mist over the whole area put paid to my idea of a rising sun over the sea! WE watched and waited but suddenly - hoof beats sounded and a prancing horse shot by with a fellow in the usual sulky vehicle. I was on full alert for him coming back so was so pleased to see the form come through the mist, pass me and disappear down the beach.
Three good things:
1. In this particular shot I got our wonderful motorhome up there on the bank as well.
2. After arriving back home and back into the usual routine, I could hardly believe I was on this beach seeing this just this morning!
3. Our garden is looking particularly lush this year but we are only here for a day and will be off again!
What a great bonus for you to see this coming through the fog... a great place to park for the night..
More adventures ahead for you ... look forward to see where you are taking us next.. and the garden will look after itself..
well, the sunrise will come again tomorrow, but this shot with the horse buggy is a one-time thing, so good on you for taking the shot. you aced it! and it would be nice to have this printed and framed, seeing the motor home is visible, too!
There is something quite magical about mist. And to see the horse appear makes it even more so. Your motorhome journeys are very inspiring. Its on my bucket list sometime. I kind of like the thought of being a gypsy.
Just stopping to do your washing!! Your campervan is looking very splendid up,on the top there! Quite creepy hearing hoof beats bearing down but glad they didn't suddenly appear behind you. Looks very atmospheric with the mist & sea.
What a fabulous shot, with your campervan included.. Beautiful misty capture & to hear hoof beats & see the horse & sulky pass by in the mist is like seeing a movie scene in a period drama..Love it..Fav
So in tune with Halloween !! the seascape engulfed with the sea mist , the sound of the prancing horse hoof with the man in his horse-buggy emerging from the mist makes all for an atmospheric and spooky scene ! So you are off on another adventure -- enjoy !
More adventures ahead for you ... look forward to see where you are taking us next.. and the garden will look after itself..
I retired in June and I'm loving it!
