From our parking spot on this beach we saw a number of visitors being ferried along the beach to the Gannet Colony at Cape Kidnappers. They had to go between tides as the beach access was the only one!
Three Good Things:
1. From the pain in my ribs, I took myself off to A&E at the hospital here and after an Xray found I had broken 2 ribs! The good thing is I have a serious morphine based painkiller now which will also target my jaw pain.
2. Now staying at my stepdaughter's place in luxury. No 50c in for a 4 minute shower here!
3. Fresh peaches.
Oh I have done that but many years ago- it looks like the same tractor and trolleys too. The gannet colony is awesome. I would love to go back with my digital camera instead. As I recall it cost lots to develop and print all my film. Sorry to hear you have broken ribs - that is so painful. I hope you heal well v
You need mollycoddling maggie! Two broken ribs is bad! I once got pushed into a corner by a heifer when I was bedding them up. It was only playing but my word this's broken ribs were so sore when I coughed etc! Take it easy & keep on taking the tablets! Lovely photo, I always like photos of tractors & people! Fave,

Oh wow, no wonder you were in pain! There have been times in my life I don't know where I would have been without powerful opiate medication, very useful when you need them. Wishing you a good recovery. Love this shot, made me smile.

New Zealand looks like a heavenly place to visit! How in the world did you break your ribs? My sister broke 2 of her ribs last month (or about 7 weeks ago). She fell on the edge of her cast iron bathtub. Her doctor told her to take ibuprofen and I made her call that idiot back and order some pain pills for her, which he did. I also took her to get an xray and it showed 2 broken ribs and a small pleural effusion. She's feeling much better now. Just had to vent about that doctor. I'm glad you have medication with you. No fun being on vacation while in pain.
@joysfocus I tripped on a stone on the road and went straight down, Joy. Thought all was oK but ribs hurt the next day so went for X-ray at the nearest hospital. Not so bad now after nearly 3 weeks!
