Tutukaka by maggiemae

Tutukaka

Our next stop is Tutukaka where the big shots come in to get the biggest fish out there. I saw a striped marlin being weighed and it was 2..135m long. I did feel sorry for the marlin! Who would want to be strung up!
Three good things:
1. John and I had a very good talk about what would happen if one of us dropped off the radar.
2. Honest talk means a lot.
3. Wonderful sunny day with beautiful scenes around this East Coast.
Some beautiful beachs and spots around there.. enjoy ..

I really like the painterly effect of the ripples on the water and the reflections here. Cant imagine seeing a fish that long - must be quite a sight.

What a very sensible thing to do maggie, Harry thinks he is never going to die & wont discuss! Not that there is much to discuss as we are both of same thoughts re leaving stuff but it is good to discuss. Wonderful joyful place, love the reflections & colour!
