There was absolutely nothing around the Camp or Auckland to photograph that wasn't depressing. Just beside our van, this bird posed so I played around with the image. A lovely hibiscus and the trunk of a palm tree.
Three good things:
1.An uber into the city to see SIL in a Carehome was a good choice.
2. Gave her a shell I'd picked up on a Northland Beach and she loved it. She has no speech or movement on one side due to a stroke 8 years ago!
3. Cooler, so porridge for breakfast is welcome!
This looks like a wonderful designer material, would cost a fortune in a shop for soft furnishings. Your SIL would be happy to see you even if she couldn't tell you in words. I'm thinking of going off the porridge now it's gotbwarmer, I had fruit instead this morning for breakfast partly because I had a bit of a lie in.
I am sure you SIL was happy to see you!
