Stepping up... by maggiemae

Stepping up...

Stepping up to the centre of sweetness!

Our yellow rhododendron is the first to flower and in mid winter its a breath of fresh air! Of course the bees come in their dozens. Here I managed to get the bee with his nose right in but having to use the stamen as steps to get there!

Three good things:
1. The guys arrived to feed our plant waste into their mobile muncher! All the prickly rose pruning etc.
2. Chocolates from the larder after dinner. To go with Master chef and Nigella Lawson.
3. Plenty of sun to sit in and enjoy today!
Talk about making a bee-line for something! We're enjoying the sun today too with wonderfully cool temperatures for summer!
