Wild Seas by maggiemae

Wild Seas

It was book club Xmas do today and I managed a good photo of us all but on the way home, this seascape made me stop the car. Wintry looking but a product of the wind rather than winter.
Three Good things:
1. I can handle these xmas do’s with friends but not with people I don’t know.
2. My mince roll donation turned out to be delicious - even if it had spinach in it.
3. The lawns were all done when I got back after waiting through a number of wet days for the contractors to arrive.
You spotted quite a few white horses there Maggie ! Nice seascape !

Beautiful seas although I’m not a sea lover but this looks spectacular....you always do have a amazing waves! I’m out with friends for a Christmas lunch tomorrow but 8 quite like meeting new people! I didn’t used to as I was very shy when 8 was young but now more confident with age!

@happypat Lunch is OK but dinners out with people are not my cup of tea! I cannot leave when I want to, must converse and its mostly polite conversation; I have changed a lot in the past few years.

@maggiemae Yes no need whatsoever to do something you have no desire to do! That’s an age priveledge!

This looks like where we live. The granddaughter plays soccer on a park across from this type of beach.

@pandorasecho There's nothing here in this part of the area except 1 house.

I like the isolated trees and the interesting background.

Sounds like a good day. The sea is spectacular, the group of trees have wonderful shape and I like your artistic finish to the scene.

This is an angle that shows the hills more than the ocean, but the trees and soccer park remind me of your area https://365project.org/pandorasecho/365/2015-07-01

The one thing I miss most about where I used to live is the SEA! Whilst the Isle of Man, located in the middle of the Irish Sea between England and Ireland, Scotland Nothabout and Wales southwards. Shots like this bring me immense joy. Thank you;-)

@s4sayer The sea can be placid or wild - its part of its nature and the changing face of every day! I love the wild and the beautiful too.!
