I looked outside on our patio early this morning and saw this tiny sweet bird just sitting. He had obviously taken the window reflection for a wide open sky!
I added a few processes to encompass this story for him. He looks good on the Black..
Three Good Things:
1. He rested for over an hour then he was gone - free once again.
2. My 93 year old sister in law is grumbling in her hospital bed after having a stroke! (This is the older sister of the one who has been incapacitated by a stroke for 8 years.) Grumbling about not being able to sleep for the noise!
3. Blue Cod - the best fish species for tea tonight and as a treat I bought 4 scallops to dip into batter and fry delicately!
You have two elderly sisters....they both sound characters! Nothing like a bit of go in you for a long life! Beautiful bird, such lovely eyes & rich feathers. Glad you had no cat!
Nice edit! Glad it survived. Never tried the Blue Cod but scallops are yummy! Sorry to hear about your sister. I am surprised to see that in your list of good things.
@skipt07 Yes that might have not been obvious... but the fact that she could grumble is such a good sign. Her younger sister had a stroke 8 years ago and has been unable to walk, read, talk!
You never know where your photographic opportunities are going to come from. Clearly he is stunned as you can see the little stars all around his head.
I have birds fly into the windows in the living room all the time (up high- cathedral ceiling) and I'm always happy when I see them fly off. I like how you've processed this.
Lovely picture btw
