Lupins by maggiemae

Lupins

I’m glad that I documented this last photo - our wonderful hydrangeas with the lupins in front. Similar colours and a really bright spot in the garden. Good on Black too.
Three good things:
1. Finally got an appointment with a skin specialist and my nasty wart type and tiny volcano on my neck will be gone!
2. Strawberries for breakfast.
3. Summer
Gorgeous hydrangeas.....I have loved them ever since I was a little girl staying with my mum's aunt for a few days one summer!

Thank you for your garden photo today. It is so cold out today and windy and your shots are a nice lovely break from winter.

@sailingmusic Most of the people I know on 365 live in the northern hemisphere and I hear about the cold a lot. Its just lovely here with the summer sun and the summer light!

Oh wow such a lovely shot...I’m so enjoying seeing your summer! They were talking about long haul flights on tv today, it really gave me thoughts of flying to NZ! I’m not a massive flower photo taker but these are lovely, Fave. Good luck with small op!

So wonderful , love your gorgeous hydrangea laden with those beautiful blooms and the colour matching lupins, not only that but your lovely sunshine on the lupin leaves - Wonderful to see the summer in your garden while we are having the cold gloomy weather ! Good luck with the app with the skin specialist - it will be good to have them removed !

A bright cheerful image. I always said hydrangeas were boring, but I have come to appreciate their beauty, thanks to @julzmaioro who always stood up for them! I now have lots on my garden....

Your hydrangeas are marvelous, and those Lupins, too. Hope your skin treatments go well!

@dide Our hydrangeas were planted a long time ago but since then were overshadowed by large bushes and trees. We cleared it all out this year and now can see the hydrangeas which are so much better now!

It's a joy to see flowers form elsewhere on the globe when we're in the throes of Winter. To be fair, we've had exceptionally mild weather and although it's now cooler, there's no wind. Have never experienced such a radical change in weather patterns for such a prolonged period. With the exception of odd days we haven’t had any severe weather for 10 months!

@s4sayer I think others have had poor weather but you might be in an area with its own climate. There are some like that in NZ too.

I love the colors in your photo. So pretty. I hope it goes ok at the skin specialist. Yummy strawberries sound great. I look forward to Spring/Summer as I miss the fresh fruit.

@darsphotos I hope you know that even tinned fruits are almost as good as the fresh?
