One of the Gums

This camp we are in has hundreds of trees. Most of them are numbered and there is a map.
Three Good Things:
1. Lost my diary for several days but found it hiding in the back of the couch!
2. Woke up with very bad back pain -I couldn't stand up! But it gradually improved during the day.
3. Lunch with friends at a village cafe -the staff were so disorganised, it was over an hour till we all got what we ordered! They didn't charge us the extra 15% it being Easter Friday.

They are certainly very magnificent. I see quite a few patches of Gums around NZ now and wonder if they've always been there and I haven't noticed so much when I was younger. Glad you found your diary and I hope your back sorts itself out!
