Sometimes a PO (photo opportunity) happens only once a day.
Today the District Nurse came around to change John’s dressing. I have blurred John’s leg as some people do with faces.
Three Good Things:
1. Video’s of travel places and planes.
2. Pays to have a clean -ish house when people suddenly arrive.
3. In the morningI did put my nice blue glass double string necklace on!
So good to have district nurses ! - they are like gold here ! . Glad to hear the leg is coming on well abeit a couple of problematic areas ! Ooh I do agree it is good to have a tidy house when you have unexpected visitors - - I always praise the Lord when this happens !! So good to have your blue necklace on !! - we are waiting with abetted breath to see this Maggie ! :)
What a great thing to have the district nurse come to visit John at home. No tracking out in the cold, limping & in possible pain. Hoorah for the nurse but also that your medical system allows these nurses to do their job properly. In the UK I doubt the job of the Disrict nurse exists anymore! No funds for such things....I made an appointment to see a doctor on Friday 12th July & the first one I could have is 19th August! If it’s serious of course that’s different but a general one you have to wait ages....NHS though so free & we have nothing but praise for it but it’s in serious crisis!
@happypat We have to pay for the doctor but can get an appt within one or two days. In our small town we have five medical practices all with about 4 -5 doctors! And I will work out how to photograph the necklace - not on my wrinkly neck but perhaps on a stray person wandering by?
@pdulis Yes - its been a challenge, Peter but one I have set myself. I really have few challenges in my present life - other than to get out of bed at a decent hour!
I agree with everybody who wants to see you wearing your nice blue glass double string necklace...
