Invalid? Not

Sometimes a PO (photo opportunity) happens only once a day.
Today the District Nurse came around to change John’s dressing. I have blurred John’s leg as some people do with faces.
Three Good Things:
1. Video’s of travel places and planes.
2. Pays to have a clean -ish house when people suddenly arrive.
3. In the morningI did put my nice blue glass double string necklace on!
The dustrict nurses do a great job.. hope its improving..

Now I want to see the necklace! 😊 Hope John’s leg is improving!

You sure made the most of the PO MM. Hope the leg is still progressing well.

Ouch

I do hope that John's leg continues to improve. Hope to see the necklace now that you have mentioned it.

Aren't the district nurses wonderful, hope John's leg is healing well..
July 16th, 2019
@happysnaps Thanks Valerie - there are just two more tiny places that continue to be a challenge! Most of it has healed well.

@grannysue Hope you don't want the head on top of the necklace as well!

You should not have mentioned the necklace, now we all want to see it ;-) Hope John's leg is recovering nicely.

Hope his leg continues to heal and he is up and running again soon

Looks like she travels with a good size bag. So glad the healing continues .

@lesip She seemed to have everything she needed - clean the wound area, scrape dead skin off, a new lighter elastic covering.

@onewing He's definitely up but - running - not in his vocabulary now - not in mine either!

The district nurses do a great job!
I agree with everybody who wants to see you wearing your nice blue glass double string necklace...

" 8 years I have posted a photo taken on the day every day" = congrats :)

Looks like John continues to get good care for his injury :)

What a great thing to have the district nurse come to visit John at home. No tracking out in the cold, limping & in possible pain. Hoorah for the nurse but also that your medical system allows these nurses to do their job properly. In the UK I doubt the job of the Disrict nurse exists anymore! No funds for such things....I made an appointment to see a doctor on Friday 12th July & the first one I could have is 19th August! If it’s serious of course that’s different but a general one you have to wait ages....NHS though so free & we have nothing but praise for it but it’s in serious crisis!

Can we see the necklace one day or perhaps we have already!
July 16th, 2019
@happypat We have to pay for the doctor but can get an appt within one or two days. In our small town we have five medical practices all with about 4 -5 doctors! And I will work out how to photograph the necklace - not on my wrinkly neck but perhaps on a stray person wandering by?
July 16th, 2019
@beryl Oh heck Beryl - I will have to iron my neck!
July 16th, 2019
@pdulis Yes - its been a challenge, Peter but one I have set myself. I really have few challenges in my present life - other than to get out of bed at a decent hour!
July 16th, 2019
@maggiemae -- Ha ha !!
July 16th, 2019
@maggiemae Well you’re not on own with wrinkly necks!
