Tea for one by maggiemae

Tea for one

I wanted to have a subject on a completely white background. This is the result but I don’t know what I did as I tried all sorts of things:

A lovely cup and saucer inherited of course, from my Mum!

To be thankful for:
Found out another thingy on my fitbit -you can do some sort of exercise and it takes your pulse and tells you if it goes into magic results. My trampoline exercise sent my pulse to 149 but back to 75 within 5 mins. Not so exciting - I only used 21 calories! That’s barely a cup of broccoli!
Your thankfulness comments are so funny! It is a splendid image of this special teacup - whatever you did, you should have remembered because it has worked so well.

@helenhall I so agree - It has been on my todo list for ages. I'll have to see if I can do it again and then I might remember next time!

Gorgeous cup and saucer.! I did 100 star jumps on the big trampoline the other day..ooh must look more at my Fitbit to see my calories burnt

@brennieb It's on the 'exercise' bit and called "interval timer'. Your star jumps are so energetic you could easily have had chocolate as a reward!

Exercise is very overrated maggie...just have to eat less....a waste of time trying to lose by exercise except to keep you moving & fit! Such a very pretty & elegant cup & saucer ....different times!

Such a beautiful and delicate bone china cup and saucer - one would certainly have to cock their little finger when drinking the finest china tea from this ! And you have captured it beautifully against all the white ! fav

What a dainty piece of china - no good for me with my breakage rate!
August 14th, 2019
@happypat I know that, Pat - but have to keep up some sort of exercise when I'm sitting most of the day!
August 14th, 2019
@beryl I was thinking that too - the pinky would be automatic!
August 14th, 2019
@fbailey I'm a bit the same Felicity - with shaky hands so I had to be very careful!

What a beautiful cup and saucer. My Mum always drank her tea out of a china cup. I must come from the peasant side of the family, I prefer a mug.
August 15th, 2019
@onewing I'm quite sure that in those days - one could always have a refill from the silver teapot. But would you want a second mug?
