A window into history

A chance to have a delicious coffee at a favourite cafe this morning. This window display took many passerby’s eye!
The huge numbers of camper vans driving past showed how popular this little town has become…. heritage, steam punk, penguins.
Thankful for:
Only 2 days till we escape to Central Otago - initially chosen for good and hot weather but the latest forecast seems to indicate cold and rain! Good books, good TV and music must prevail!

Love the penny-farthing - it makes a beautiful and nostalgic display in your coffee shop window - Just as well it is inside and not outside or I am sure someone would be tempted to attempt to ride it !!

Historic bike there. I presume it was very difficult to keep your balance on it. Makes lovely attraction for passers-by. Pity about the weather but expected in this time of year.
