Unfortunately, the return of my facial neuralgia pain has got so bad, I’m living from pills to pills. I have no energy for anything but did want to take one photo at least. I don’t know what happened here when I tried to take the shot out our window - I guess its just the way I feel - sort of sideways!

So sorry about your current pains and malaise. I do hope they will pass as quickly as they have set in. That is an interesting effect. I have had that happen to me once or maybe twice. It would have been a nice picture, if perfect, but is perhaps a more distinctive one, as it is. I am a strong believer in serendipity.
Oh Maggie...so sorry to hear you are living in pain at the moment. I hope it gets better for you ASAP! You are living out of sorts and on holiday should be a fun experience!

I can empathise, I hope it clears soon, did the same as you until it went. My GP was looking for Shingles but I had no rash. Now 25 years on it reoccurs for short periods when I’m at a low ebb or sit in a draught or cold wind but otherwise it cleared.
Perhaps it’s time to go home & visit your own doctor Maggie...bad enough being ill but far worse away from home. A beautiful place to stay but you won’t be in the mood!
It looks like those houses have a great view! I wonder how you can even get that effect when taking a photo. Sorry to hear about you facial neuralgia, I had to google it and it sounds awful. I hope you find some treatment that will help soon!
@kiwichick I shall live in hope that increasing the medication I have been taking for 2 years, might do the trick, Lesley The pain is enough to make you go cross-eyed!
i thought you'd done that in post-processing - it's so good! just love how all the colours are brought out so clearly in those lines. really sorry to hear about your neuralgia. a friend had it and said the pain was terrible. i really hope 2020 brings some easing of it

Doesn't matter "how" this shot is fantastic....I so feel for you Maggiemae.....I have very mild neuralgia at times, nothing like you so....I do pray this will soon go

Oh, dear! Lovely shot, but I do feel for you regarding the facial neuralgia. My mother-in-law had that for quite a while, neurological surgery really helped her. Sending you good wishes!
Kind of neat result, whatever the cause of your photo glitch. So sorry to hear of your painful condition. Sending good thoughts for a speedy recovery. Pain is so draining, mentally and physically - hang in there. Hoping 2020 will be a better year!
