and so...goodnight to you! by maggiemae

and so...goodnight to you!

Not too late but good enough to catch the southwest light which seems to be constant now.
The street outside is not so busy and will be even less busy tomorrow. Total lockdown from 11.59 tonight!
Thankful for:
Sky TV - all the old programmes as well as the new ones (not so popular with oldies like me)
Ha, I so echo your last sentence!! We tend towards DVDs and are currently watching Poirot and also the classic comedy The Vicar of Dibley. A gentle mystery and then a good belly laugh before bed. Perfect!

Beautiful colours. Not much to watch on tv at the moment and besides I get fed up after a few minutes watching the same programme.

Love the colours and stillness.
Keep safe and rest well.

Nice colours. I'm finding being in lockdown very peaceful. We've spent the last 8 days at home other than 2 quick trips to the grocery store (for me only).

Such a peaceful sight and lovely colours. I have isolated myself for the last week and it suits me fine. We follow with our lockdown a day later. Stay safe :-)

So far it seems to be working here for those who are not into hoarding and follow the "rules". It's been rather quiet on our street which is nice. I really know what it's like "in town" because I've just resisted the temptation to go out and see. I'll find out when it's time to go food shopping. Hopefully the stores will have restocked by then! It seems peaceful where you are by the looks of this shot. I hope it stays that way when the restriction takes place.

You've given me an idea to photograph light trails on the highway now that everything is on a sort of lockdown. Traffic never looks like this here.
