Within a minute of putting this feeder up, the wee birds had zoomed in! Previously we had this hanging feeder just outside the front door but the detritus left by these birds covered the front steps. So here its in the garden.

The first thing I thought of was the squirrels just like @olivetreeann because that would be an issue in my yard as well! This is a really cool looking birdfeeder though. And I love that you referred to the desk detritus on the front steps. You are the only person except my English teacher in high school that I have ever heard use this word
