another view..

Moved away from the huge mountain range and now in a flat valley on a dairy farm. You can see the cottage - beautifully built for the changing view.
Thankful for:
The nearest village of Fairlie has a reputation for delicious pies. I stood in a queue to get two of these to heat up for our evening meal. I should have photographed them but couldn't wait to eat them!

@aikiuser The main thing is there is no added flavours or additives to these pies - just so basic and so delicious! They probably bank on selling these so quickly, they don't need to put preservatives in them!

W3 stopped for a cup of coffee in Fairlie the first time we ever came to NZ...I have a photo somewhere as we are sitting right up to the road, we loved that road through Mackenzie country to Lake Teekapo.
