Whitebaiters

Our little bach/crib is not far from the estuary of this big river. Whitebait can arrive here but this was the only crew I saw organised. What looks like a supermarket trolley is obviously a whitebait net.
Thankful for - so far away and my feet in the sand were not too stable but this camera and its great zoom got it good!

@pusspup No, not a bit like prawns - they are very tiny long fish - you eat the whole thing, very tender with a unique flavour!
