I took this during the day but was looking forward to the moon rising at 8.40pm over the sea here. I took 50 photos of the moon and they were all ratchit! I have a lot to learn.
Thankful for;
A family lunch at a winery not far from here - first class food (not cheap) and enjoyed the company!
Beautiful capture of this estuary. Not much water seems to be pouring into the ocean at the moment. Not going to restaurants since Covid19. Now even more because all bars and restaurants have to close up early.
A lovely view of the sea and sky - There will be no eating out as from Thursday here in the UK as we face another complete lock-down . But one has to get use to it !
I know how disappointing it is to have your heart set on a terrific moonshot and have it not turn out! I was hindered by clouds in my attempt. Unfortunately I didn’t have anything this beautiful to take its place.
i know how you feel about those moon shots. i've tried different settings, but no deal. i liked it much better in the beginning when the point and shoot would just focus on the moon and i'm happy. the mirrorless takes good moon shots but it's a moody camera. sometimes, i just enjoy the watching rather than the shooting. but big ACES on this shot, maggiemae. i like it!
@beryl I think it is a positive move from ole Boris - and having a positive attitude for everyone will really help! I mean after all, what did we do in cavemen times!
@grammyn Well, there are some I won't delete - I like to remember all about getting the photo etc. It was so dark when I trudged back to our holiday cottage, I had to be so careful I didn't trip over anything... or stand in dog poo!
