The petals split in some traumatic history when it either had too much water or too little. Tricky little house plants. However it hung on and now looks like this.

Such a beautiful close up with lovely detail. I struggled with this beauty and finally gave it away. It always needed water which I often forgot. It was in the guest bathroom and I seldom go in there 😉
