Driving home by maggiemae

Driving home

This is the scene we see driving down this road out of our town. I did crop out the traffic and the light poles but thought perhaps the contrast of the mountain magic and the busy vehicles made sense.
Thankful for:
Facetime - with son in Guatamala City. He is out of quarantine there having contracted covid, but not allowed back into Canada until 10 days have past. Countries all have different rules.
What a wonderful view you have, those snow topped mountains look amazing!

I agree the contrast of snowy mountains & everyday traffic is a brilliant image. So much snow you there! Glad your boy is on the mend!

Wow- that's quite a view even with the traffic. I'm glad to hear your son is well again and hopefully those 10 days will go quickly. My son was stuck in Paraguay last January after testing positive with no side effects or symptoms. We were holding our breath until he finally got cleared by a doctor to fly and then walked through the door.

@olivetreeann Paraguay would not be the best to be stuck in! I wish our son would walk through our door! Haven't seen him for 5 years. That's why FaceTime is so good!

@maggiemae It was very tense for a few days. We had gone to their home in Kentucky to be with our grandsons and daughter-in-law. It helped keep our minds off his travel restrictions. We said a lot of prayers!! I hope you get to see your son come home soon- face time or real time!
