Beschorneria Yuccoides, also known as Mexican Lily, has clusters of strappy green foliage. Pink-red flowers with a trailing habit appear during spring. Sun lover, drought-tolerant.
Every year I forget what this plant is called. Now I have saved it. It is just emerging.
Thankful for:
An 'at home ' day... needed for covid avoidance.
I’ve heard there are so many cases of covid in NZ just now….hopefully all mild but it would never have been possible to keep it out so I’m not surprised. Hopefully with the vaccine you won’t have the number of deaths most countries had.
A very showy & flamboyant flower!
@happypat There are not as many Covid cases in NZ as there were - a few weeks ago it was over 10000! Now its down to about 4000. And in our small town of about 13000, there is only about 20 per day. I'm sure the vaccine helps - those members of the family and friends that are vaccinated and have caught covid - only mild symptoms. But another member of the family who was very strongly against vaccines has caught it and she has been very sick!
