ruin by maggiemae

ruin

Abandoned for decades, I pass this when going to pick up two more full milk bottles from the dairy farm. I made a point of stopping and getting this photo.
Thankful for: as Paul Griffith says: ”Photography is probably the best hobby in the world for someone who just wants to be alone. You can create your passion and achieve all your success behind closed doors without needing to tell anyone about it”.
A very good image with great processing.

I like your quote. I get a little bit tired of the family telling me to make a web page - or do something with my photos!!
I love the edit here - looks great.

I wanted to stop to photograph a similarly derelict building on our drive two days ago, but I just couldn't make myself stop at the beginning of an 8-hour day. Maybe next time?

A place that just cries out to be photographed or painted.

@bill_gk That's what I thought too, Bill. I did have another small cottage near here that was going to wrack and ruin but I see now that it has completely disappeared.
