This is the first day of the Steam Punk Festival in Oamaru and the historic buildings came alive! This was a series of pictures on an Oamaru Stone wall of the old hotel, the Criterion, built in 1877. It is still a great small hotel with restaurant, bar & B&B. The street to the left of this picture was alive with colour and noise!
It might me and my blurry vision but on the right if you squint that shadow looks like a train! how did you do that! Nice shot, I can't do nights yet...
@frida It is an engine and a steam punk one at that. It is just round the corner on a plinth and it belches smoke and makes train whistles if you put $2 in the box!
