Mussels cooked in Wine

Plus garlic and red pepper! Thats the wee bit of red you can see. It did need this bun to soak up the juices! These are NZ green lipped mussels, with lots of omega 3 so we were set to enjoy the first heats of Olympic athletics feeling healthy!

How well have NZ done today ...2 gold medals in the rowing !!! Was so pleased for them...our second country so if Britain can'twin we want NZ !!!!
This looks a lovely meal although the nearest I have come to green lipped muscles is rubbing on Musselflex the green lipped ointment for joints which incidentally is excellent.
