Lone Beach walker

This is Bushy Beach, a beach near Oamaru (about 5 minutes away) on the East coast of NZ. The Yellow Eyed penguins come in to this beach in late afternoon and nobody is allowed on the beach after 3pm. The viewing hut can be seen on the top of the bluff. The sand is golden but the sea is not for swimming. The slug like shape a bit further on from the walker is a sea lion.

Glorious! I love beaches like this! Thanks for the background info. Fascinating that people aren't allowed after 3pm! I've never come across that before!
