The Big Wheel at the Oamaru A&P Show (Agriculture and Pastoral) Show. It was their 150th Show and there were lots of people having fun and being informed about new products etc. My husband was helping at the Lion's catering caravan selling hot dogs and chips. He wrote up the prices on a board and instead of putting "Drinks" for $2 he wrote "Fizz" and then thought the younger lot wouldn't know what that was!
@cromwell I had to sit around and wait for it but could see it was going to have good light, Cromwell. You don't find these just down at the corner, though!

I love the silhouette of the Big Wheel against the pastel skies. I would love to ride one of these again. Probably the closest wheel I could find around here would be at a church carnival ... LOL!
Perfect timing maggiemae, it shows off the rather vintage style of this ferris wheel beautiful. You can see all the struts & it's a very good entry for the theme this week...I would vote for this any day!!!!Fave!
