This is day one after surgery. Ended up having two units of blood transfused but I requested it be someone with estrogen since I am estrogen deprived! Nursing staff were incredible and I got lots of compliments on my cute toes. SOOC

Yes, bi-lateral knee joint replacement. Was more concerned with having two surgeries/anesthesias/recoveries than doing two at one time. My friend said, "Becky, you had your legs amputated at he knees!" Well, I guess that isn't far from the truth.
@mamabec i go to the rehab pool twice a week and each person's story is so different one from the other. some times the one knee is better then the other knee done a year later.
sometimes the people think it is not a big deal at all. others find it painful.
but most people say the hip surgery is far easier then the knees.
i just hope you find your surgeries work well and you get better quickly
will you get to go to a rehab pool?
ours we walk in on the flat and then they pools goes down to the right height for us after we are in. it is lovely warm water.
feels so good to exercise in there.
