Thanksgiving 2011

We drove up the coast to Yachats and had Thanksgiving dinner at the Adobe with our friends (our sons & families were with our DIL's parents this year). This was our view of the ocean from our table during dinner. It was a wild and stormy day with 60 MPH winds. After dinner we drove back to our house ... played some "Lips" on xBox and then spent the next five-plus hours playing cards: a progressive Rummy, Golf, War and Indian Poker. It was a day filled with much laughter with great friends.

Both of our sons called with beautiful words of thanksgiving. They are amazing blessings in our lives and we are incredibly thankful this holiday season.
