wattlebird coming in to land

lots of birds around my front yard this arvo and was lucky enough to catch this one on his way to land on the wires...like the way his feet are poised in front of him, but their shadows show on his tail feathers...and pleased i captured the catchlight in his eyes...nice on black i think

Great capture Maree a little tip if you don't mind, if you up your ISO you will be able to have a higher shutter speed which will freeze motion or if you shot with more sun light it will be easier to set camera on the setting you need. I use 1/1200 shutter for birds in flight. You can check peoples camera settings if you click on their View Info on their site. Happy shooting.
