gotcha

lots of visitors to the grevillea today...mum, dad and juveniles...i think this one is a juvenile..they did lots of fluttering around whereas the grown ups just lobbed and ate...this is the best...a tad blurred but wing detail not too bad...
Really great focus!

Lovely shot. I prefer shots of birds with blurred edges it gives a sense of movement rather than frozen in time.

What terrific timing, so crisp and sharp...fav

Now this is rather special! The head and eye are sharp as are the flowers and foliage in the foreground - the blurring of the wings and tail suggest rapid movement and add dynamic tension to the shot. This is a very accomplished bird portrait - easy Fav!

March 17th, 2016
Think that's a very good shot , it captures movement in the bird with the slightly blurred wings with body frozen and some detail colour in the wing makes for a nice flight action shot.
