Maybe it's because you seem to like frogs, maybe I might want another wonderful load of fabulous comments and huge numbers of Favs again,( thank you all very much. they were very much appreciated ). But no, that is not the reason, well not the only one, Lol.
Look closely, under his chin, if Frogs were to have chins,that is. See the reflection ? Its not a reflection. It is another Frog. Now they look very close, you say, well they are. Very close indeed. But why so close ? Well just let's say, they are making Tadpoles, enough said. Lol.

Aww !! how about " The Prince and the Frog "" !! Love A smashing close up with all the detail in colour and form I loe frogs and wouldn-t mind seeing more froggy shot !
Ha! I think this is my favourite picture ever! Its funny, frogs and toads are kind of gross when you see them in the grass but when they're happy and camouflaged they're dead cute!

Well it is a combination of things, pond is not that large and there are lots of frogs and some of them appear not to be bothered by me getting in close. I used a 100mm macro lens and if I need to get in really close, my camera a Sony A77, has an inbuilt electronic teleconverter which works extremely well.
