WELCOME BACK STRANGER by markp

WELCOME BACK STRANGER

I have not seen one of these in the garden for a while, several years probably. Previously very common, nowadays much rarer. I thought I had seen a glimpse of one about a week ago, then two days ago one was right outside the kitchen window. Today I managed to photograph it, and I also saw it carrying worms into a tree. It's a bit early for chicks, so it was probably carrying the worms to feed to it's partner sitting on eggs.

PS. I forgot to say it is a Song Thrush.

More from the garden today here...
