@gardencat Thanks Joanne, I am not sure. There are several pairs of Blackbirds in and around the garden, the males in particular seem very tame and confiding, but whether it is the same one that comes closest all the time I don't know. They all look very similar, sometimes you will get one with a patch of white on it, or like last years be missing feathers and you can tell them apart. The tame one with a missing tail, has regrown his tail, and looks like all the others now, but it could quite well be the same one.
