Is this a feeding station you created? So much more attractive than seeing birds photographed around a traditional feeder. Sweet little blue tit with his tiny sharp beak.

There are lots of different feeders and feeding stations around the garden.
Thus is an old dried length of tree trunk, about a foot long.
It has rotted from the centre and there is a hollow in the top. I have pushed a container down in to it and put in a supply of food in it.
I use different places in the garden. The Robins and Blackbirds follow me around to see where I am going to put the food, once they find it the other species soon move in to.
